Returns, Warranty & Liability
Coln Engineering refurbishes carburettors on a "best efforts" basis. There is no guarantee that the original functional or cosmetic specification can be met. We will make the best effort evaluation prior to starting work, based on our knowledge and experience so that expectations and costs are agreed upon. However, the customer is paying for our time and costs, not for a new product.
Customers can return their parts if they do not meet the functional or cosmetic requirements of the product on receipt and we will try to rectify the fault without additional charges. Customers must contact us before returning goods so that we can discuss the requirements and nature of the issue.
Coln Engineering Ltd is NOT responsible for losses, damage or injury of any kind as a result of failing components or design of carburettors. The main risk associated with fuel systems is fire. While every care is taken to test all carburettors for fuel leaks before dispatch, customers are responsible for ensuring that there are no fuel leaks both prior to and after installation.
